No perfect people...

We went to the movie in the park the other night and as we're watching the screen before the movie you asked why it says "no perfect people allowed". I explained that no one is perfect so it means that everyone is welcome at Copper Hills. You then said, "well, if God & Jesus are perfect, does that mean they're not allowed at Copper Hills?" You're always thinking Kaleb Jeffery!

Update

Just an update on you and what a smart little boy you are. You've always been very smart and you're very interested in learning new things all the time. You knew your alphabet by 22 months...the song, and by recognition, both uppercase & lowercase. You loved signing and could sign so many words and phrases, it was amazing. Now, at 4 1/2 years old, you're still a little smartie. You're very interested in math & science, it seems. You love space and learning about space. You already know all of the planets in order from the sun. You know that Pluto used to be a planet, but is now a dwarf planet. And, you know quite a few facts about each of the planets. You ask me questions I can't answer, like "Mom, everything has to have an end. So, how can space not have an end?" You also know a lot of other stuff too. Shortly after you were 4, you were able to count to 100, knew your telephone number, and the months of the year. You've known your birthday for a long time, which I thought was normal, but am finding that a lot of kids your age don't know their birthdays. You're also very excited to be a big brother. Karsten is due on June 10 and you love to talk to him, feel him move & hug & kiss him. I'm so proud of you & you're going to be such a wonderful big brother. I can't wait until you can hold Karsten for the first time! I love you, Kaleb, you are one amazing little boy!

The Saw

I slept on the floor of your room the other night because you were coughing so hard. You were so sweet, you said "it's like we're having a sleepover." And then you asked me if I wanted you to snuggle. You only snuggled a few minutes, then asked me if it was okay if you went back to your bed. After I finally got to sleep, you woke me up. You told me that I was snoring and it woke you. You then told me that my snoring made you dream a giant saw was chasing you and you were scared that it was outside your room. Awe, I felt so bad.

Little Mermaid

Yesterday at the playground you were checking out Caitlin's Little Mermaid cup. You asked me why she wears seashells for a bra and I told you because she's a mermaid. You told me, "Ya know, that's not really 'propriate for a girl."

Sweet...even at school

Today at school, 2 classmates, Lilly & Malu, were talking about being boyfriend and girlfriend. Miss Courtney told Lilly, "you're only 5! I'm 27 and I don't have a boyfriend!" You told Miss Courtney, totally 100% serious, "Miss Courtney, I'll be your boyfriend. I'm 5 and I'm 7" tall. Maybe 8"." She said you were so sweet.
